Illustration of credit cards with grocery, luggage and airplane icons, showing everyday spending turned into travel

Hi, we’re the family behind Best Canadian Credit Cards

I’m Sundar. My family of four lives in Ontario, and we love to travel.

A while ago we realized we were spending on groceries, gas and bills every month and getting very little back. So we started collecting points with the goal of turning everyday spending into family trips. When we went looking for advice, we found 30-card comparison tables, insider jargon, and blogs written for people who fly business class every month.

So we’re building the site we wished we’d found: simple, honest, and written by a regular family going through it ourselves.

Where we are right now

We’re in the collecting phase. We hold the RBC Avion Visa Infinite and the Marriott Bonvoy American Express, and we’re building toward our first big redemption.

We’ll share the real numbers as we go: what we earn each month, which card earns more, and the mistakes we make. When we book that first points trip, you’ll see exactly how we did it.

What we do differently

We pick one or two cards, not thirty. Tell us how you spend, and we’ll point you to the cards that fit.

We’re honest about our experience. When we write about a card we hold, we say so. When a card is outside our own wallet, we say that too, and base our view on its published terms and fees.

We do the math after fees. We look at what a card earns a typical Canadian household year after year, not just the welcome bonus.

We write for beginners. If you’ve never redeemed a point in your life, neither had we when we started. This site is for you.

How we make money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you apply for a card through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never decides what we recommend.

What we’re not

We’re not a bank, and we’re not financial advisors. Card terms and offers change often, so always confirm the details with the issuer before you apply.
