You redeem in blocks of 10,000 points. During some events, the same 10,000 points can get you $15 or more. Use the calculator to see what your balance is worth or how many points a purchase earns.

How many points you earn
Members earn points without a credit card at Shoppers and Esso. At Loblaw grocery stores, members earn through personalized offers in the PC Optimum app instead of a set rate. The PC Financial cards add points everywhere.

Card earn rates come from PC Financial’s benefit guides and PC Optimum’s join page. Other partners include DoorDash (5 points per $1 on eligible orders) and Specsavers (10 points per $1). Linking the Esso and Mobil app adds 10 points a litre at Esso.
What 15 points per dollar is really worth
Because 1,000 points are worth $1, you can turn any earn rate into a percentage by dividing by 10:
- 15 points per $1 at Shoppers = 1.5% back.
- 45 points per $1 with the World Elite card at Shoppers = 4.5% back.
- 30 points per $1 with the World Elite card at Loblaw stores = 3% back.
- 10 points per $1 everywhere else = 1% back.
A 20x event at Shoppers works out to 30% back in points, according to PC Optimum. To compare these rates with other cards, try our cash back calculator.
